The WHEDA (Wisconsin Housing and
Economic Development Authority) home loan program is generally a first time home
buyer program, except in the “targeted counties” such as Clark County whereby
you do not have to be a first time home buyer to qualify. This program has
income and purchase price limits and generally requires a 3%-5% down payment.
The interest rate is fixed for the term of the loan.
We work with the Clark County Housing Authority which has an office in
Greenwood, Wisconsin and has a program that will help cover one-half the costs
of the down payment and closing costs for someone interested in purchasing a
home. At the current time,
money is not available to fund WHEDA home loans. |
